We don’t know anything about cars, but this popped up in our feed, and it sounded kind of crazy. A 1996 Impala that was first sold in Conshohocken is being auctioned for $50,000. It has almost 500 miles and the original tires.
From the auction site:
This 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS was first delivered to E.F. Moore, Inc. in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and later spent time in Minnesota and Arizona prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2024. Now with 500 miles, it is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over gray leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This Impala SS is now offered in Florida at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a car care kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
Regarding the tires, that tidbit is mentioned in the comments, where the seller answered some questions about the vehicle. The seller states:
Additionally the car has original tires from 1996, I don’t suppose anyone is going to be cruising at 90mph with these tires or even this car anytime in the near future.
