42% of those arrested in Plymouth Township are of from Philadelphia. Less than 6% from township

The Plymouth Township Police Department recently released its 2025 report that provides a lot of detail about the department and statistics on various types of crimes and social issues the officers deal with.

In 2025, the department made 1,346 arrests. Of those, 570 or 42% were residents of Philadelphia. Less than 6% were residents of Plymouth Township. Please note that the data uses zip codes, thus to determine “less than 6%” we calculated Conshohocken and Plymouth Meeting’s totals.


Other interesting details from the report:

  • There was a 128% increase in retail thefts over the past five years, however, the number did come down from 898 in 2024 to 676 in 2025.
  • The officers of the Plymouth Township Police Department were very busy in 2025. Officer involved activity, essentially anything police are called to do (minor to serious), jumped from 19,517 in 2024 to 24,774 in 2025.
  • The township’s unhoused community as rose by 334% over the past five years (from 53 in 2021 to 230 in 2025).
  • 5,655 traffic stops were made in 2025. The racial breakdown of who was pulled over is 44% Caucasian, 38% African-American, 13% Hispanic, 5% Asian, and less than one percent unknown.
  • 80% of the time in 2025 police gave a warning to those who involved in a traffic stop.
