71 new cases of Coronavirus and three deaths

Montgomery County officials announced today that there are 71 new positive test results for Coronavirus. The new total thus far is 778. There is at least one positive result in 56 of 62 communities in the county.

There were also three additional deaths. An 87-year-old female from Upper Gwynedd, a 94-year-old female in Springfield Township, and a 73-year-old male Abington Township. All were hospitalized at the time of their death. The total number of deaths in the county is 15.

The local numbers are as follows:

  • Conshohocken is at nine cases, which is one more than yesterday
  • Whitemarsh is at 28 cases, which is one more than yesterday
  • Plymouth is at 20 cases, which is five more than yesterday
  • West Conshohocken continues to have zero cases

After yesterday’s post, a few people requested that we ask the county to publish the graph the county is tracking that shows the positive tests by the day the tests were taken, not the day they came back (which can be uneven). We inquired and did not receive a response back.
