Tommy’s Tavern + Tap, a New Jersey-based restaurant chain with 13 locations in New Jersey, Delaware, and New York, is opening its first Pennsylvania restaurant in King of Prussia. The liquor license for the former J Alexanders at 256 Mall Boulevard is now marked as pending for Tommy’s.
The closest location is Cherry Hill, which has a menu of pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a handful of entrees such as Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Cherry Coke BBQ Ribs, and Cherry Coke BBQ Ribs. In addition, there is a sushi and poke. The bar has a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wines.
The timeline for opening has not been announced.
