The Plymouth Township Police Department has released its first (that we know of) “Weekly Retail Theft Roundup,” which details the status of recent investigations involving retail theft in the township. The first Roundup covers the week of January 27th to February 2nd, during which eight investigations into retail theft were initiated. Of those, there have been two arrests, three are still open investigations, and three were closed with no prosecution.
The three closed with no prosecution cases involved under $100 in merchandise. The retail stores declined to prosecute. You can read the full report here.

On January 18th, an investigation was opened regarding the two pictured suspects leaving BJ’s Wholesale Club in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) with $529.99 in merchandise. The unknown suspects left the scene in a white Dodge Charger type of vehicle.
On January 30th, 24-year-old Stacey Larae Williams was arrested on charges involving retail theft and receiving stolen property after an investigation into theft at Guitar Center in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). The estimated value of the merchandise was $3,499.00. Williams has a preliminary hearing on February 11th.
There is an open investigation involving the theft of merchandise valued at $1,315 from Dicks Sporting Goods in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). There are four suspects, all described as black males between the ages of 20 to 25.
On January 31st, an investigation was opened involving the theft of $346.95 in merchandise from Best Buy in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). The suspect is pictured above.
On February 2nd, 31-year-old Zalika Tahir Washington was arrested on charges involving retail theft and receiving stolen property valued at $387.76 from Target in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). Washington has a prelininary hearing on February 11th.
