The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that Fairmount Automation Inc., a small-business based on a federal government defition, in West Conshohocken has been awarded “a $10,652,798 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the commercial procurement of Fairmount Automation’s G4 Design Pad family of controller models and accessories, licenses and engineering services.”
Fairmount Automation is a leading provider of “survivable process control and automation products for harsh environments.” Its website shows a history of the products it has provided to the Navy.
This most recent contract is with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division in Philadelphia.
