A Lafayette Hill resident, Dr. Jerald Matt, was killed this past July while riding his bike along the Schuylkill River Trail in Norristown. Dr. Matt was crossing the intersection with the trail at Ford Street (at Lafayette Street) and was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained on the scene. We have outlined the trail’s path in green in relation to the roadways in the image above.
