This past Sunday saw the first Mass celebrated at the Saint Mary Quasi-Parish in Conshohocken. The quasi-parish is now home to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, an order that celebrates Mass as it was before Vatican II (in basic terms they celebrate Mass in Latin). The new quasi-parish makes its home in the former church that was Saint Mary Parish, which was merged with Saint Matthew Parish a few years ago.
Before are some tweets from the Mass showing the full pews:
First time I ever kneeled for the Eucharist in my life was this morning in Archdiocese of Philadelphia at St. Mary's Church, Conshohocken, where the Traditional Mass in Latin has returned starting today <3 pic.twitter.com/oatB968218
