An upcoming Thanksgiving Eve collaboration between Lafayette Hill’s Ye Olde Ale House and Manayunk’s Pizza Jawn quickly sold out. Pizza Jawn pre-sold the pies through a reservation system.
The collaboration was a mashup of Pizza Jawn’s Grandma Pizza and Ye Old Ale House’s famous roast beef. The pizza was a Grandma pie with roast beef, burnt ends, cherry peppers, horseradish, and au jus. The pizza ran $35.
Lafayette Hill’s Marcos Espinoza, who posts about food and sings on Instagram and Tiktok, is one of the two stars of the promotional video for the collaboration. Espinoza also owns Side Project Jerky, a beef jerky company. He is the one carrying the roast beef sandwich. The other person in the video is David Lee, the owner of Pizza Jawn.
