Conshohocken’s Borough Council recently updated an ordinance that impacts traffic and parking. The Conshohocken Police Department highlighted the changes on its social media.
There are two new stop signs on Conshohocken’s streets. The first is at the intersection of Hallowell Street and East 12th Avenue. The second is at the intersection of Forrest Street and West 1st Avenue.
A street in the borough has also been switched from two-way to one-way traffic. You can now only travel north along Walnut Street between East Hector and East Elm streets.
In regards to parking, there are now no parking signs placed on the west side of Oak Street from Stoddard Avenue.
The borough’s Fire Marshall now has the authority to issue parking tickets.
If you park a truck or trailer on a borough street, the gross weight allowance increases from 9,000 pounds to 11,000 pounds, and the length allowance is now 22 feet.
