Comedian Shane Gillis, who once lived in Conshohocken, broke two Guinness World Records during his July 17th show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
According to a Facebook post from the stadium, Gillis broke the record for the most tickets sold for a comedy show by a solo comedian with 77,047 sold, and the largest audience for a comedian with 73,946 in attendance. Joining Gillis for the show were former Eagle Jason Kelce, David Chapelle, Meek Mill, and others.
While Gillis is originally from Mechanicsburg, he lived in Conshohocken before he hit it big as a comedian. In a 2025 appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, he mentions his time in Conshy. Tweets from 2015 mention his move to the borough.
