A Lot of Development Taking Place in Plymouth Township

If you haven’t driven on Plymouth Road, between Butler Pike and Germantown Pike, recently, it looks very different than just a year ago. The above photo is of an under construction apartment community that is called PARC. PARC is a partnership between Brandywine Realty Trust and Toll Brothers. When completed the community will have almost 400 apartments, 11,000 square foot clubhouse and leasing office, an outdoor pool, volleyball and bocce courts, pet spa and massage rooms.  PARC is projected to be completed by the end of 2015.

Across the street in Sal Paone’s Cold Point Village, the first retail tenants have been open for several months and include Gravity Hair Salon, Arugula Ristorante and a realtor’s office. Brynn & Dane’s is still confirmed to eventually move its corporate headquarters and open a restaurant in the building along Plymouth Road.

Over at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, the Times Herald reports that PREIT has a redevelopment plan for the area on the side of the complex where the movie theater is located. PREIT is going to meet with Plymouth Township’s Council to propose an apartment community and either a hotel or office building in the area that encompasses the pictured office building, the property where Sleepy’s is located on Germantown Pike (next to the Lukoil) and the turnpike maintenance yard. The meeting where this proposed redevelopment will be presented is Monday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. at 700 Belvoir Road in Plymouth Meeting (Room A).
