If you took Chemical Road in Plymouth Meeting over the past couple of days you may have noticed cones and an electronic signal device blocking off a portion of the right lane (the blocked lane is closer to Germantown Pike and in the right lane as if you were coming from Germantown Pike to Ridge Pike).

We emailed PennDOT about it and received the following response:

The road is sinking due to all of the recent rain. Our maintenance crews have blocked off the lane at that section and will be out fixing the road this week.
