There is a lot going on for the July 4th weekend in Conshohocken, West Conshohocken, Plymouth Township, and Whitemarsh Township. Below we broke down the public celebrations.
Fireworks in Conshohocken
The fireworks are scheduled for July 3rd at 9:00 p.m. Sutcliffe Park will be closed, and the fireworks are shot high enough into the sky to be viewed from most parts of the borough.
If you prefer to watch with others, in West Conshohocken, you can meet at Saint Gertrude’s Park for free ice cream from Frosty Falls at 8:30 p.m. and watch the show at 9:00 p.m. The Plymouth Fire Company allows parking on its property for a donation starting at 6:00 p.m.
July 4th Parade in Whitemarsh Township
The annual 4th of July Parade will be held on Friday, July 4th, starting at 10:00 a.m. The parade route begins at the Barren Hill Fire Company and ends at Miles Park. Immediately following the event, everyone is invited to Miles Park, where the Lions Club of Whitemarsh is hosting a community picnic.
Soapbox Derby in Conshohocken
The annual Soapbox Derby in Conshohocken will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Fayette Street (starts on the 800 block and ends between 5th and 6th avenues. Runs into the afternoon.
July 4th Parade in Plymouth Township
The township’s emergency service providers will parade through the township on July 4th, starting at 10:00 a.m.
