Aphrodisiac Menu Coming to Gypsy Saloon / Plus a Valentine’s Day Brunch

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Gypsy Saloon is offering an Aphrodisiac Menu from Friday, February 10th through February 14th, plus a Valentine’s Day Brunch (not just for couples) on Sunday, February 12th.  Check out the menus below:

Arugula & Marinated Beet Salad $10
Baby arugula, mandarin oranges and crispy goat cheese

The aphrodisiac powers of arugula were first made known in ancient Rome and Egypt, as it was associated with fertility.

Goat Cheese Ravioli $10
With a pistachio cream sauce topped with balsamic marinated strawberries

Strawberries gained their reputation as an aphrodisiac due to their large number of tiny seeds symbolizing fertility.

Lobster Bisque Soup $10
Lobster’s aphrodisiac history can be traced back to the ancient Greeks, who believed their goddess of love, Aphrodite,
was born of the sea and that all ocean creatures were her playthings in the games of love.
