Arrest made in theft from Target stores across Pennsylvania, including the one in Plymouth Meeting

CBS News in Pittsburgh had a report on January 17th involving the arrest of Angelita Rodriguez of Reading after an investigation found she impersonated an Apple employee at multiple Target stores in Pennsylvania and successfully stole approximately $22,000 in Apple products. One of the stores involved was the Target in Plymouth Meeting.

In the criminal complaint, police detailed how Rodriguez would pretend to work on the Apple display, take items, hide them, then leave the store. She would then sell the stolen items for cash, investigators said.

She’s also suspected of doing the same thing in Virginia and Maryland, and the monetary loss for all the states is still being determined, the attorney general’s office said.
