The Colonial School District’s students were to have their art show this evening (May 15th) at Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Meeting, however, police activity in the neighborhood around the school has led the district to postpone the show. Below is the announcement:

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Tonight’s District Art show is being postponed due to police activity in the area near Colonial Middle School. No students are in danger and we are acting out of an abundance of caution and in consultation with area police. We will reschedule this event, but it is important at this time to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your understanding.

We are not yet sure what the police activity involves, but we will work to find out.
