The Plymouth Meeting Mall now lists the arts and crafts retailer Michael’s as “coming soon” on its website. It is expected to open in the fall of 2019.

There is currently a Michael’s near IKEA off Alan Wood Road. Not sure if this location is moving or if there will be two locations.

If it is moving, this will be the second retailer within Plymouth Township to make a move to the mall. Dick’s Sporting Goods is moving from the Metroplex and is also expected to open in the fall of 2019.

Michael’s will be located within the former Macy’s space, which is currently being renovated into five spaces. Dick’s, Burlington, Edge Fitness and Michael’s have been announced thus far. In August the mall’s owner, PREIT, stated in a press release that it was negotiating with a brewery to take one of the spaces.
