Conshohocken Theater in the Parks is inviting performers from across the community to audition for its upcoming summer productions of The Lion King Jr. and The Prince of Egypt. As a new community theater initiative, the organization is dedicated to bringing live theater to local parks while creating opportunities for local residents to take part in the arts.

Auditions for The Lion King Jr. are open to students ages 8 to 18 and will take place on March 16, March 17, and March 21. Auditions for The Prince of Egypt, which is open to both adult and youth performers ages 8 and up, will be held on March 6, and March 18.

These productions will launch Conshohocken Theater in the Parks’ first season, bringing music, storytelling, and community together through live outdoor performances. Full audition details and sign up information can be found at www.conshytheater.org.
