Flanigan’s Boat House is hosting Beer 101 on Tuesday, November 12th from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Beer lists are getting longer and longer, boasting dozens of styles by thousands of breweries, how can you know what’s what? Learn by sampling some of the most common styles of beer, Lambic, Pilsener, German Wheat beer (Hefeweizen), Trappist Dubbel, India Pale Ale, and Stout. What are the key flavors of each that make them what they are? Alex Crowe of Hophound Productions will take you on a fun guided tour of beer flavors, showing you the way to becoming a beer pro.

He is Adjunct Faculty at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College teaching an Intro to Beer course and hosting school sponsored beer events such as the Wine vs Beer dinner.
