LehighValleyLive.com reported that a man facing charges connected to a sexual assault in Northampton County is also a “person of interest” in other sexual assaults including one in West Conshohocken.
From LehighValleyLive.com:
Authorities are investigating whether a man accused of breaking into a College Hill home and sexually assaulting two women may have committed an additional three sexual assaults.
Clement Swaby, 35, of Bethlehem, is charged in the March 5 attack of two 22-year-old women just off Lafayette College’s campus in the 400 block of McCartney Street.
Further in the article:
At a bail hearing Monday, Northampton County Assistant District Attorney Tatum Wilson said Swaby is a person of interest in sexual assaults in Bethlehem, Lehigh County; West Conshohocken, Montgomery County; and in Florida.
Wilson told the judge that Swaby has not yet been charged in those crimes as they are awaiting DNA results.
Swaby’s attorney sought to have his $300,000 bail reduced, but the judge sided with the prosecution and refused to reduce the bail due to the potential threat to the community.
