Big East Field Hockey Championship brings economic impact to Conshohocken

The Big East Field Hockey Championship is being held at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) this weekend. The two semifinals were played on Thursday and the championship game between the University of Connecticut and Old Dominion is being held today at noon. No tickets are required, but COVID-19 restrictions are enforced (wear a mask and social distance).

It is nice to see that the tournament brought some economic impact to Conshohocken businesses. The tournament had four teams, conference officials, parents and more attend (with three teams from outside Philadelphia). At least one local business benefited (we are sure there wee more). The team from Liberty University dined at Brunch while in town.
