Pennsylvania American Water announced on July 8th that the boil water advisory for 1,069 customer connections in parts of the Municipality of Norristown and Plymouth Township has been lifted. The initial advisory was issued on June 6th following the loss of positive water pressure due to an equipment failure.
On July 6th and 7th, samples were collected and had acceptable test results. This led the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to authorize liftingthe advisory.
