Borough of Conshohocken Seeking Members for the Dog Park Advisory Committee

Since our last report on the Conshohocken Dog Park, the Conshohocken’s Borough Council voted to include the park within the Borough’s park system. It started as a public/private partnership that never really worked and the park lacked consistent upkeep, etc.

The Borough has now established the Conshohocken Dog Park Advisory Committee to help oversee the park and is seeking members of the community to apply to serve on it. Below is the announcement:

The Council of the Borough of Conshohocken is now accepting letters of interest, resumes, and applications for the Borough of Conshohocken Dog Park Advisory Committee. The purpose of this advisory committee is to work in concert with the Borough Administration in assessing and making recommendations for assuring that the dog park meets the capital and operational needs of the community. The Dog Park Advisory Committee shall consist of no less than three (3) and no more than five (5) members that will be appointed by the Borough Council; at least two (2) members must reside in the Borough in Ward 3, where the dog park is located.

If you are a Borough resident and are interested in being considered, please complete the attached application and forward it with a cover letter and resume to the address below:
