The Montco Beer Festival presented by Giant is set to take place on Saturday, October 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lulu Shriners in Plymouth Meeting. This festival was previously known as the Conshohocken Beer Festival and continues to benefit the Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary. The festival will feature approximately 40 breweries, other adult beverages, live music from Staycation, and great food.
If the festival proves as popular as it has been when held in Conshohocken, there will be the need to transport about 1,000 people to the new venue in Plymouth Meeting from downtown Conshohocken. This is a big undertaking that will take about eight shuttles making two trips.
When you buy tickets, you are asked how you plan to travel to the festival. The options are:
- Shuttle from Conshohocken
- Shuttle from Ambler
- Uber or Lyft
- Ride with a designated driver who has a parking pass
The organizers need to know this information so transportation can be efficiently planned. It is important to not have too few shuttles or schedule too many.
