Plymouth Township shared on social media today that a cat was determined to have rabies. The cat was in the area of the 700 Block of West Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting (Place One Apartments). Below is the notice:

As we expected, people commenting on the Facebook post are asking what can be done about the colony of feral cats that live in Plymouth Township. Feral cats in Plymouth Meeting, along with a colony Conshohocken, have come up a few times this year on social media.

According to those commenting, the Township will refer you to the Montgomery County Office of Public(which they do in the social media post above). While this may be the correct answer, the issue appears to remain unresolved.
