Conshohocken baker forms partnership with Gazzo’s Steaks

Gazzo’s Steaks, a growing cheesesteak shop from Pottstown with a second location opening in Ardmore on July 23rd, has announced a partnership with Conshohocken-based AJ’s Bread & Bakery to produce its rolls. Currently, Justice Martin, owner of AJ’s Bread & Bakery, operates out of the kitchen at the Spring Mill Fire Company (Whitemarsh Township), but eventually, the plan is for Gazzo’s and Martin to have their own facility.

According to the announcement from Gazzo’s, AJ’s will be “producing exquisite in-house rolls” and cheesesteak fans can expect “next-level traditional seeded and unseeded rolls — plus exclusive, limited-run creations like long hot & cheese rolls, garlic roasted red pepper rolls, prosciutto and much more, all crafted to perfectly hold our signature prime ribeye.”

“Since day one, we’ve been committed to using the best quality ingredients we can get our hands on,” shared Gazzo’s owners Lewis and Mike Lamson. “The final piece was the bread — and now, with our own bakery, we have full control to refine, experiment, and perfect it ourselves.”

In addition to rolls, AJ’s will be selling his other baked goods and artisan breads at Gazzo’s two locations.
