How did you come to live and/or work in Conshohocken?
Originally from Tucson, Arizona, my wife and I moved to Pennsylvania in 2003 in order for me to pursue a doctoral degree at Temple University in sport and exercise psychology. After spending the first year in the Art Museum area of Philly, we fell in love with the suburbs of Conshohocken/Lafayette Hill. In 2004 we moved into Andorra Woods of Lafayette Hill and have since then filled it with two children and many great memories. In 2006, I started working at Conshohocken Health and Fitness Club as a personal trainer.
What do you do (career wise)?
I’m currently the Director of Personal Training at Conshohocken Health and Fitness Club. In addition to supervising the training staff, I train 8-10 clients per day, six days per week. My days usually begin before sunrise and end after sunset with each hour filled with hard working individuals. While I strive to push my clients past his or her goals, my philosophy has always been a holistic approach to health and fitness; mind, body, and spirit.
What do you love most about Conshohocken?
That’s easy….the people. Conshy is such a diverse mix of home grown families with young professionals.
What are your favorite places in Conshohocken?
One of my favorite spots in Conshohocken is Lee’s Produce. The fruits and vegetables at Lee’s are far better then any you would find at the local grocery stores. My other favorite place in Conshohocken is the toe path. Just a short walk from Conshohocken Health and Fitness Club, the toe path has been a great alternative to the treadmill or stationary bike.
