Conshohocken man sentenced five to 13 years for Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child

In August 2021, MoreThanTheCurve.com reported that the Conshohocken Police Department responded to a residential burglary in progress. The investigation found that a juvenile victim reported that a male had entered through her bedroom window, got into bed with her, and touched her. The juvenile victim then ran out of the room and immediately told an adult.

The police arrested 58-year-old Michael S. Malone, Malone, a resident of Conshohocken, and charged him with Attempted Rape and Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Indecent Assault of a Child, Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and related charges.

On March 22nd, The Times Herald reported that Malone plead guilty to the charges of Attempted Sexual Assault of a Child and Burglary, and was sentenced to five to 13 years in a state correctional facility. He also received three years’ probation.
