Mary Ciammeti, a Conshohocken mother whose son passed away from alcohol poisoning, and Eileen Behr, a former police chief of Whitemarsh Township, are part of two panels that will discuss alcohol poisoning prevention and education on Thursday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Temple University. The panels are part of a hearing called by State Rep. Emilio Vazquez, D-Phila.
After Ciammeti’s son death, she founded “Don’t Stall, Just Call,” an alcohol poisoning education program for university, college and high school students and their families.
After leaving Whitemarsh Township’s Police Department, Behr went on to become Sheriff on Montgomery County and is now vice president of public safety/chief of police at Drexel University.
