Conshohocken native and Plymouth Whitemarsh grad publishes first book

Conshohocken native and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School graduate Samantha Carlomagno recently published Monsters, her first book, which is available on Amazon. Carlomagno enjoys writing horror, fantasy, and mystery stories, and this first book is about surviving in a world filled with zombies.

From Amazon:

When the dead decided to get back up, it left two parents to protect their daughter. Fighting for a place to call their own, normal has taken on an entirely different meaning.

They may not be able to do anything about the corpses, but that doesn’t mean they’ve given up living.

Told in a braided narrative format, Monsters follows the life of Lana as she grows up in a world filled with the living dead. From the time the world fell to building a community, Lana has to fight for everything she has.

After Plymouth Whitemarsh, Carlomagno graduated with a B.A. in English Professional Writing from Kutztown University in 2018 and then a M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Rosemont College in 2022. She currently works locally for an electrical contractor.
