In 2023, MoreThanTheCurve.com reported on Conshohocken native and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School graduate Angele Sigala making his debut on Broadway in New York, New York.

Sigala is returning to the area for a 10-day run of Tick, Tick… Boom! from April 4-14 at Theatre Horizon in Norristown. Sigala is one of the shows three stars, which also includes Upper Merion High School graduate Elena Camp and Robi Hager of Philadelphia. Below is an interview 6ABC Actions News did with Sigala.

Theater Horizon’s website describes Tick, Tick… Boom! as “a semi-autobiographical rock musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creator of the worldwide phenomenon Rent. On his 30th birthday, a Musical Theater Composer (played by Broadway’s Robi Hager) navigates love, friendship, and everything in between, to achieve his big break. Co-Directors Robi Hager and Steve Pacek will re-imagine this life-affirming story about the pressures of being an artist and the joys of creative fulfillment.”

Tickets for the show are available for $25 to $85 and can be purchased online.
