Conshohocken’s Brad Rhodes, a freshman at Georgetown University, helped the Hoyas’ Varsity 4+ boat win its third consecutive national championship for men’s lightweight rowing. The IRA Regatta National Championships were held on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ, from Friday, May 30th to Sunday, June 1st. Rhodes is pictured at the top of the article (he is the one without a cap).
Rhodes is a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and rowed for the Whitemarsh Boat Club and Undine Barge Club on Boathouse Row prior to Georgetown. The Whitemarsh Boat Club operates out of the Hines Rowing Center in Conshohocken (Whitemarsh Township).
Rhodes is a finance major at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.
