Conshohocken’s borough council to consider ordinance that would make East Second Avenue one-way

On the agenda for the October 15th meeting of Conshohocken’s borough council is an ordinance that would amend the borough’s ordinance regulating vehicles and traffic. The two main changes are as follows:

One-Way Traffic on East Second Avenue

The ordinance under consideration establishes one-way traffic on East Second Avenue, from Fayette Street to Harry Street, in the easterly direction. The borough has been testing one-way traffic on East Second Avenue, between Fayette and Harry streets, since the beginning of 2025.

West Second Avenue

The ordinance adds a stop intersection on West Second Avenue at Forrest Street in the easterly direction.

15-Minute Parking Spaces

The ordinance also creates three 15-minute “To-Go Orders Only” parking spots on the north side of East First Avenue between Fayette Street and Harry Street and four spots on the north side of East Second Avenue between Fayette Street and Harry Street. This has also been tested in recent months.

You can find the text of the ordinance under consideration here.

Correction – the headline initially stated East First Avenue. It only impacts East Second Avenue.
