Crazy day involving water in Conshohocken – Four incidents we know of

What seemed to be a very mundane article about a water main break in front of the Great American Pub, has led to a flood of messages to our inbox alerting us to other issues involving water across Conshohocken.

Earlier today, a leak occurred at the Spring Mill Campus office park, which flooded at least one office.

Around noon, there was a water main break right in front of the Great American Pub that snarled traffic and is currently in the process of being repaired. Aqua’s website shows that this break is estimated to be repaired by 7:37 p.m.

Along Fayette Street, between Third and Fourth Avenues, Aqua’s website shows repairs being completed. We are unsure if this is connected to the main break at Fayette Street and Second Avenue, in front of the Great American Pub, or not. It may just be the point where they turned the water off in connection to that break. Aqua’s website shows that this may result in the loss of water for up to 100 accounts for up to 12 hours.

We thought we were done, but then we noticed that there is another water main break in Conshohocken in the upper avenues on the west side. This issue is affecting up to 100 accounts and is expected to be resolved by 5:30 p.m.
