The parking lot for the smaller portion of the former Hale Pump property has been broken up. Not sure when the work started, but there was a crew on the property today dealing with a pile of asphalt.

The building on the property along East 9th has not yet been touched (that we could see).

The last we reported on this redevelopment project was in September of 2018. At the time, the work on demoing the smaller building was expected as early of November 2018. The larger main building was expected to take longer to reach the demo stage due to some environmental issues.

The redevelopment will bring a mix of singles, twins and townhouses to the two properties (there are renderings in the article linked to in the above paragraph).
