Developer of former Exxon station in Conshohocken seeks extension of zoning approval

On the agenda for the June 16th meeting of the Conshohocken Zoning Hearing Board is an application from CGEM, LLC, that seeks an extension of previously granted zoning relief involving the property at 701 Fayette Street in Conshohocken.

The approved plan to redevelop the property with a mixed-use building, featuring retail on the ground floor and apartments above, would need to revisit the approval process if an extension is not granted. This is a common procedure as projects are often met with delays.

The property was previously an Exxon station, and at one point, it was slated for a medical marijuana dispensary. The planned dispensary fell through when the state made changes to its licensing process.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the borough hall.
