Fighting for Theresa is holding a blood drive and craft fair on Saturday, February 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Fire Company.  In addition to the blood drive, there will be about 12 tables offering Cancer Awareness wristbands and magnets, hand made jewelery, scrapbooking, Mary Kay Cosmetics, hand made bows and a coffee truck.  There will also be face painting between 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for children.

Fighting for Theresa was created in memory of Theresa Staley Wood who lost her battle with Acute Leukemia AML in 2011.  The organization’s goal is to raise awareness for Leukemia and Blood Cancers in Theresa’s name so that no one will have to suffer the same fate.
