Your final chance to publicly voice your opinion on the proposed Wawa at 11th and Fayette will be on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Fire Company. This is a special hearing on the subject and will include a presentation from the developers of the Wawa, questions from members of Borough Council and a period for public comments. Public comments will be limited to three minutes per person. Lawyers representing community groups may be provided additional time due to their speaking on behalf of multiple people.
There is not set time to end the meeting, but if it approaches 11:00 p.m. except Borough Council to start to speed things up by soliciting responses from the public in attendance as a group. There will be not be a vote to approve or deny the proposal at this meeting. The vote will take place at a Borough Council meeting on Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will also be held at the Washington Fire Company.
