Event – Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Conshohocken

Conshohocken will be hosting the Montgomery County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 16th.  Here is a list of what is happening in Conshohocken on Saturday during and after the parade (this will be updated several times before Saturday, all listings subject to change).  Your establishments or business not listed?  Email the details to kevin@morethanthecurve.com.

Saturday, March 16th

Starting at 11:00 a.m. – “Conshy Go Bragh” and “Connaughtown Original” Irish t-shirts will be for sale at the Conshohocken Cafe (East 5th and Fayette) and ‘Feine (West 8th and Fayette).  You can pick them up at Edwards Freeman  Nut Company if you do not want to wait until the parade.

Starting at 2:00 p.m. – The Montgomery County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (crowd starts to gather an hour or so before)

4:00 p.m. – St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser to Benefit the Montgomery County Police Officers Memorial Fund at the Washington Fire Company No. 1.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and includes entertainment, food, beer wine and soda.  It is a kid friendly event.

The Conshohocken Cafe: Brunch inside with Irish specials and Irish music.  Outside they will have a stand offering shepard’s pie, pork sandwiches, chicken caesar wraps and fresh squeezed lemonade. (East 5th and Fayette)

Cafe …On A Roll Food Truck (from the owners of the Conshohocken Cafe): Will have shepard’s pie, veggie chili pork sandwiches and fresh squeezed lemonade. (3rd and Fayette)

Race to Taste Curbside Grille (hotdog cart): Will have hotdogs, sausages, etc. (Between Elm and East 1st Avenue on Fayette)

The Great American Pub:  Will have the Paul Moore Band (Irish music) playing live starting at 3:00 p.m.  On special all day will be $2.50 Coors lights, plus a special menu of ham and cabbage, shepard’s pie and lamb stew. (East 2nd and Fayette)

Scoops: Will have $3.00 Lucky Mint Shakes all day, plus all your other favorite treats and balloons for the kids. (East 5th and Fayette)

Spamps: Prior to the parade, Spamps will be serving brunch with Midori Mimosas (see menu).  They will also serving Shamrock Shake Martinis and the band Irish Thunder will be performing after the parade.  (East 1st Avenue)

‘Feine: Will be serving coffee, iced coffee, Irish lattes and other treats.  (West 8th and Fayette)

Ponti’s Steaks & Spuds: Will be outside serving their signature french fries (toppings – chili, wiz and gravy), chicken tenders, egg rolls (pepperoni and cheese or smoke pit), fried cheese curds and gourmet sodas.  (East 5th and Fayette)

Southern Cross Kitchen: Beer specials will also include Strongbow for $4.00 and Miller Lite and Lager for $2.00. They will also be featuring $5.00 appetizers including fried pickles with green goddess dressing, chicken bites with a remoulade sauce, Texas Pete wings, pork sliders(2) and oyster sliders(2). Re/Max Ready: Free popcorn and beads outside their new office. (East 5th and Fayette)

Guppy’s Good Times: Live Irish music from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Irish Thunder is stopping in after the parade.  DJ Dan 7:00 p.m. to close.  $4.00 Jameson shots till 8:00 p.m. (West Elm and Maple)

Baggataway Tavern: Will have corned beef and cabbage all day Saturday and Sunday. (West Conshy)

Flanigan’s Boat House: Irish beers and menu all day Saturday, plus $3.00 Coors Light Aluminums. (East 1st and Fayette)

401 Diner: Breakfast and lunch all day. (East 4th and Fayette)

Gypsy Saloon: Will have a $5.00 food menu including chili, wings, mini hot dogs, chicken quesadilla, and old bay fries with a side of cheese sauce. On special will be $2.00 Miller Lite and $2.00 Yuengling Lager drafts as well as $5 pop shots of Jameson, green tea, and Baileys. (West Conshy)

OBVI Boutique: Is having a “Get Lucky” sale where you choose a shamrock at the register and get anywhere from 10-30% off your purchases. It runs all weekend. There will also be balloons for the kids during the parade.  (East 5th and Fayette)

The StoneRose: Roast pork and hand carved sandwiches out front, plus beer specials. (West 8th and Fayette)

Carol’s Place: Offering Irish-themed cocktails and drink specials on Saturday after the parade.

Donnie Mac’s Deli on 4th: Will be serving hot dogs, sausages, mini hoagies, fried mac-n-cheese balls, cheese steak egg rolls, meat ball sandwiches and soft pretzels.

Smoke-and Bones: From Jim Catania and Ken Mason, the guys that do the Casmar Cook Offs.  They will have smoked pork, brisket and ribs.  They use a real wood open pit.  (7th and Fayette)
