On July 11th at 7:00 p.m. SS Cosmas and Damian Parish is having a tour and presentation on its stained glass windows that were designed by painter and stained class artist Paula Himmelsbach-Balano (1877-1967). Paula Himmelsbach-Balano is often considered the “First-Lady” of Philadelphia stained glass. She was the first female to operate a stained glass studio in the United States that oversaw operations from design to installation.  The presentation will be conducted by Dr. Kim-Eric Williams.

There will also be a presentation by Emannuel Utti, Liturgical Artist and a parishioner of SS. Cosmas and Damian , who painted the ceiling in the Church.

On August 11th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. SS. Cosmas and Damian invite the community to a concert in Mary Wood Park featuring the Verdi Band.  Bring you chair and enjoy the concert.
