Last week to see (free of charge) the Conshohocken History Exhibition at Borough Hall this week at 400 Fayette Street and 4th Avenue in Conshohocken, in the lobby of Borough Hall open all day daily Monday thru Friday from 9:00 Am to 5:00 PM. The Exhibition of Conshohocken’s history includes over 150 pictures and pieces of memorabilia from the Conshohocken Historical Society that were catalogued, cleaned, organized and installed for the display. Through the Exhibition, visitors to Conshohocken Borough Hall will be exposed to the rich history of Conshohocken, particularly the role of two prominent companies, Lee Tire & Rubber Company and Alan Wood Steel, which provided a livelihood to thousands of Conshohocken residents. The display also includes details around the bequest of the Mary H. Wood Park House and property to the Borough of Conshohocken by Mary H. Wood, wife of Alan Wood, Jr, to be set aside as a “public park or playground for the recreation and enjoyment of the public.” Presented by the The Conshohocken Historical Society, The Borough Council and Borough of Conshohocken, Brendan Flanagan (Eagle Scout) and Scouts BSA Troop 12 Barren Hill PA
