Join CPW Rotary and Will Langlois, Executive Chef at Bar Lucca, as he teaches us how to make the perfect pizza at home. Together, we'll make a pizza from scratch with ingredients provided by DiGiacomo Bros. Specialty Food Company in a recipe kit made specially for this event. Chef Will will regale us with the history and some fun facts about pizza while showing us how to make a dough from scratch. Once we do that, we'll take out our pre-made dough to learn how to stretch, toss and top our pizza as well as how to make the sauce. All throughout he'll be explaining the difference between pizza and pasta sauce, pizza types and how to make the best pizza at home! Tickets are only $50 and include a recipe kit and link to join the event on Wednesday June 16th. One kit is perfect for a couple or family of 3. All proceeds from this event will help fund the installation of solar panels and a water filtration system at the Karama Education Center in Southwestern Uganda. The project is a collaboration between the Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary, Conshohocken United Methodist Living Waters for the World Ministry, and The Chain Collaborative to bring power and potable water to the school and its community. Installation is scheduled for Fall 2021.
