  4. Kids between the ages of 4 and 7 are invited to spring into Van Gogh’s art by participating in this fine arts appreciation class brought to us by Ms. Svetlana of Kids Look Listen Create! During the first part of the class, children will hear a story with Van Gogh’s springiest paintings interspersed throughout. They will explore the colors in the paintings, the mood they evoke, and will learn a little bit about Van Gogh and his art in general. Children will be encouraged to compare the nature they see in his art with what they observe outside. Finally, children will have the opportunity to create a craft inspired by what they’ve seen, heard, and learned. Sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library. Registration is required. Registration will open two weeks in advance of this program's date.
