The weather looks great for the first weekend of the Conshohocken Winter Market presented by Cencora. The market will feature 25 vendors under a big heated tent, live holiday music, seasonal food and drink, and more in the SORA West Plaza adjacent to Hotel West & Main in downtown Conshohocken on December 5-7. You can meet this weekend’s vendors here.
Today, December 1st, is the last day to enter to win a $100 gift card. Enter here.
In addition to Cencora and Hotel West & Main, the market is sponsored by Cozen O’Connor, Craig Services Group, The Courts at Spring Mill Station, along with John Bros. Automotive, Realtor Noele Stinson, Omlie, and the Home Experts For You Team.
The market opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5th, and will be open through 8:00 p.m. Ava Difiore will be playing holiday music in the tent from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can also join the Conshohocken Running Club for a run and happy hour starting at 5:00 p.m.
The market reopens on Saturday, December 6th, at 11:00 a.m. At 1:00 p.m., the Philly Grinch will appear and will be joined by the Plymouth Whitemarsh Holiday Cheer Band. From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the accapella group Philly Accents will perform. The Philly Grinch is sponsored by the Home Experts For You Team.
The market will reopen on Sunday, December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. From noon to 2:00 p.m., enjoy live music from Chris Peace.
What is there to eat and drink? 1874 Social will be offering a variety of snacks and apps, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and seasonal cocktails (view menu). There will be a bar inside the market tent, and another inside the hotel lobby, with a cozy lounge area. Dinner can be enjoyed upstairs at Hook & Ladder.
Brewery Techne + Bar Hygge, Pieri Vineyard & Winery, Hidden Still Spirits, and Dero Limoncello will be offering samples of beer, wine, and distilled beverages that are available for purchase in cans/bottles to enjoy at home.
Where to park? There is abundant free and covered parking in the SORA West parking garage adjacent to the plaza. Enter the garage via West Elm Street.
What to wear? The market is held mainly on grass, so wear the appropriate shoes. The current forecast calls for partly to mostly cloudy skies, with highs between 30 and 40 degrees. Remember, there is a big heated tent and the opportunity to warm up in the hotel bar and lounge area.
The market will then return for a second weekend, December 12-14, with 17 of the 25 vendors changing. So be sure to plan a return visit!
