The Federal Transit Authority has released an Executive Summary of its Environmental Impact Study on the proposal to extended the Norristown High Speed Line into King of Prussia.

We didn’t read it, but we know some of our readers are interested in this. We think extending the Norristown High Speed Line is a big waste of time and they should just pull the trigger and extend the Manayunk/Norristown (R6) Regional Rail line.

Proper SEPTA trains eventually need to go further west into Phoenixville, Pottstown and Reading, so this effort with King of Prussia just ignores future needs.
