A fire last evening at the Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center was contained to a carriage house with nine hotel rooms. The building dates back to the 1800s. No one was injured and the other areas and operations of the property were not impacted.

In a post-fire statement, Normandy Farm thanked first responders:

A heartfelt thank you to Center Square Fire Company and all of the surrounding fire companies that came to assist, along with Whitpain Township Police Department. We can’t explain our gratitude in words.

6ABC Action News was on the scene and reported on how a wedding was saved. Firefighters were able to save the wedding dress and other items.
