PECO is closing Flourtown Road weekdays between Joshua Road and Plymouth Road in Whitemarsh Towmship, on Monday, November 20th, through Monday, December 11th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for gas main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced recently.

During construction, Flourtown Road motorists will be detoured over Joshua Road, Germantown Pike and Plymouth Road. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.

PECO will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
