The Philadelphia Flyers are hoping to host an alumni weekend in June 21-22, 2025 in Conshohocken. During the March 6th meeting of Conshohocken’s Borough Council, Brad Marsh, a former Flyer from the 80s and currently the Vice-President for Community Development for the team, made a presentation about the event.
The event is expected to see approximately 50 former Flyers attending, along with an estimated 1,500 participants participating in a 5K/run and multi-distance recreational bike rides. There will also be a Flyers Fan Fest that would include Gritty, interactive games, inflatables, Flyers’ personalities, the ice team, and more.
Almost all of the events would be held on Sunday, June 21st and the event plans to utilize Hotel West & Main as its headquarters.
When asked by Council member Ralph Frey (I, Ward 6) why the Flyers want to host the event in Conshohocken, Marsh stated that Conshohocken was recommended by several people as the place to be and that they really want to take over a town that embraces the event.
The event will require some street closures and other assistance from the borough. The borough council plans to vote on whether to allow the event on March 20th.
