Deepfakes have hit Conshohocken! If you are not familiar, there is now technology that allows pretty much any video to be manipulated to replace faces in a video with those of your friends or enemies. Basically, you can’t trust any video you see anymore.
Two friends, Brian Pieri, owner of Bar Lucca, The StoneRose, and Bar Sera, and Robin Gupta, owner of Guppy’s Good Times, had some fun with the technology recently. Pieri put his face on Mike Tyson and then replaced Tom Hank’s face in Forrest Gump with that of Gupta. Gupta then made Pieri the star of Queen’s Gambit. Enjoy.
